4 Injured in San Bernardino Car Accident near Santa Fe Trail and Fox Trail
San Bernardino, California (June 30, 2023) – A family of four, including two toddlers, were hospitalized after being injured in a collision involving a DUI driver on Monday.
The accident happened at around 2:36 p.m. on June 26, near Santa Fe Trail and Fox Trail, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities say a suspected DUI driver crashed into an SUV carrying a family of four. The impact of the collision caused the SUV to overturn.
A 2-year-old girl, a 4-year-old boy, a 27-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman in the SUV were injured in the accident and were taken to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The suspects, 26-year-old Alvaro Rodriguez and 32-year-old Edilberto Solano Morales, fled the scene but were later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
