According to the Oakland Fire Department, the wreck took place around 2 p.m. near International Boulevard and 102nd Avenue.
First responders found the driver of a car trapped inside after colliding with an AC Transit vehicle. Firefighters extricated the driver of the car from the wreckage.
Three people were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. It was unclear if any of the victims were from the AC Transit vehicle.
An investigation is ongoing.
