Spokane County, WA – Three people were injured in a traffic collision on Highway 2 in Spokane County Wednesday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident occurred at around 7 a.m. on State Route 2 at Wood Street.
A semi-truck and a second vehicle with an adult and two teens were involved in the collision. It appeared the driver of the car did not stop at a stop sign and became wedged under the semi.
The adult and one teen suffered life-threatening injuries and are in critical condition. Another teen is in stable condition.
All were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
