A driver reportedly failed to stop for a red light and hit barricades and three Caltrans employees who were working in the area
Chollas View, CA.- Three Caltrans workers were injured when they were hit by a suspected DUI driver in Chollas View early Tuesday morning, according to the authorities.
The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. on the Market Street onramp to the northbound 805.
A driver reportedly failed to stop for a red light and hit barricades and three Caltrans employees who were working in the area.
The driver also collided with a work truck in the area.
The injured workers were attended to by medics at the scene.
The woman who struck the victims was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
