Van Nuys, CA – A train hit and killed two pedestrians in Van Nuys on Sunday night, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The collision happened in the area near 7600 Woodman Avenue at about 9:29 p.m. June 9.
According to the report, a man and a woman walking in the area were hit by an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train.
The victims, believed to be aged nearly 35, were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
No one on the train was injured in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
