Santa Maria, CA. – A second person has died while receiving treatment for injuries sustained in a car crash that occurred on Monday afternoon in Santa Barbara.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Clark Avenue at Presquile Road at around 2:15 p.m.
A Honda Fit was traveling eastbound on Clark, when it stopped to make a left turn and was rear-ended by a Chevrolet pickup.
The impact pushed the Honda Fit into the westbound lanes where it was hit by a Dodge Ram.
A front-seat passenger of the Honda Fit died at the accident scene.

The driver of the Chevrolet and the Dodge Ram were unhurt.
