Two drivers were pronounced dead at the scene of a head-on collision on Highway 95 near Havasu Lake Road in San Bernardino

San Bernardino County, Calif. – Two people were killed in a head-on collision that occurred in San Bernardino near the California-Arizona state line on Friday night.
The California Highway Patrol said the fatal crash happened at around 11:30 p.m. on State Route 95 near Havasu Lake Road.
A black Audi A6 and another vehicle collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the accident scene. The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed pending notification of the next of kin.
The highway was temporarily closed and two towing trucks were called to remove the vehicles from the roadway.
More details about the crash were not provided.
The collision remains under investigation.
