2 Killed in Los Angeles Crash on Manchester Ave

, CA. – Two people were killed in a car crash in the Vermont Knolls community of South Los Angeles on Sunday morning.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the double- crash happened around 5:03 a.m. on 959 W Manchester Ave.

Two vehicles, each with a single occupant, collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

The collision sent both cars off the roadway and toward a building under construction.

Both drivers were trapped in their vehicles and were extricated by the LAFD firefighters.

Sadly, they succumbed to their injuries at the accident scene.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
