, CA. – Two women are dead, and three others are nursing injuries after a DUI accident that happened early Monday morning in San Francisco.

21-year-old Jayden Elliot Patrick of Santa Rosa was arrested following the collision that happened around 1:20 a.m. near Grafton and Jules avenues in the city's Ingleside neighborhood.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, two vehicles collided in the area under unclear circumstances.

First responders found two women in one of the cars with life-threatening injuries. Both patients were pronounced dead at the scene.

Four adults occupied the other vehicle. Three of them were hospitalized – one with life-threatening injuries and two with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said Patrick was the driver of that car. He was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, DUI causing injury, and reckless driving causing injury.

SFPD is investigating the collision.
