Tucson, AZ – Two people were hospitalized after being injured in a traffic collision in Tucson on Thursday.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the accident happened on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway at milepost 243 near Twin Peaks Road.
The circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately established.
Authorities say two trauma patients were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The crash resulted in the closure of the eastbound lanes of the freeway as the scene was cleared.
