Two cars and a semi-truck were involved in the crash on West Valley Highway and Interstate 405
Tukwila, WA – Two people were hurt in a multi-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck in Tukwila on Tuesday morning, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The wreck took place on West Valley Highway and Interstate 405 at about 5 a.m.
Two cars and a semi-truck were involved in the crash.
The cars were trapped under the big rig following the crash.
One person was extricated from one of the cars and was taken to a Seattle-area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
One other party was also hurt in the accident and was taken to a local hospital.
Northbound I-405 was shut down in the area as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
