According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, the wreck was reported around noon on Pleasant Valley Road east of Las Posas Road.
Two cars of unknown make and model collided head-on for an unknown reason.
One person suffered potentially life-threatening injuries, and another person sustained moderate injuries. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the patient with more severe injuries to Los Robles Regional Medical Center. The other patient was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The sheriff's department's Camarillo traffic unit closed the roadway as they worked the scene.
