A Toyota Prius collided with a semi-truck Thursday afternoon near Tulelake
Siskiyou County, CA – Two people were injured in a big rig accident that happened Thursday afternoon in Siskiyou County, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision was reported around 4:33 p.m. on State Route 139 near Tulelake.
A Toyota Prius and a big rig were involved in the accident.
The two occupants in the Prius were injured and transported to Sky Lakes Medical Center. One of the patients, a female party, hit her head and was bleeding from her nose.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
