San Bernardino, CA. – Two children died in a collision involving a suspected DUI driver on Sunday night in Rialto.
According to the Rialto Police Department, the accident happened at Walnut and Riverside drives at around 11 p.m.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling south on Riverside ran a red light and struck a Honda Accord that was making a left turn onto Walnut.
The impact of the collision caused the car to crash into a tow truck.

The father of the girls was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries while their mother was unhurt.
The pickup truck driver, 28-year-old Alexis Garcia of Buellton, fled the scene in but was later found and arrested on two counts of murder, one count of DUI and one count of felony hit-and-run.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
