Goodyear, AZ – A 14-year-old boy was killed in a traffic collision near 159th Avenue in Goodyear Monday afternoon.
According to the Goodyear Police, the incident happened at around 3:45 p.m. near 159th Avenue and Madison Street.
The boy was riding a minibike when they collided with a commercial truck.
Responding crews arrived at the scene and found a seriously injured teen boy underneath a commercial truck.
Rescue crews performed CPR before rushing him to a hospital, where he died a short time later.
The name of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
No additional details regarding the mishap were provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
