San Bruno, CA. – A teen Scooter rider was seriously hurt in an accident that occurred in San Bruno on Thursday afternoon, according to the San Bruno Police Department.
The collision took place in the 1400 block of Niles Avenue near Parkside Intermediate School at about 3:30 p.m. January 30.
According to the report, a 13-year-old was riding a scooter when they were hit by a garbage truck driven by a 37-year-old Watsonville resident.
The teen was rushed to a hospital with major injuries.
Authorities reported that alcohol or drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The San Bruno Police Department is investigating the accident.
