Bakersfield, Calif. – One person was severely injured in a car accident that happened near Bodfish in Kern County on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident was reported around 12:45 p.m. on Highway 178 near Delonegha Hot Springs, according to the California Highway Patrol Incident Page.
Two vehicles are reported to have collided on the highway in unclear circumstances.
One driver was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment by the Kern County Fire Department crews.
More details about the accident were not released.
