One person killed in 405 Freeway car crash near Sherman Way in Van Nuys
Los Angeles, CA. – At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident early Sunday morning in Van Nuys.
At around 5:20 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of a collision on the 405 Freeway near Sherman Way.
A black Ford F-150 pick-up truck and a second vehicle were recovered at the accident scene, but the circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.
CHP reports that one person died in the morning wreck.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
