Pedestrian struck, killed by car on Mettler Road near North Ham Lane in Stockton
Stockton, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Thursday evening in Stockton.
At around 5:30 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to Mettler Road, west of North Ham and West lanes, for reports of a pedestrian accident.
According to the San Joaquin County fire dispatch, two pedestrians were involved in the collision. The circumstances of the accident were not immediately determined.
One pedestrian was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The condition of the second victim was not disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
