1 Killed in Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Walnut Grove Boulevard in Stockton
Stockton, California (June 30, 2023) – At least one person is dead following a car crash that happened in Stockton early Friday morning.
At around 4:05 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a traffic collision on the northbound 5 Freeway near Walnut Grove Road.
A semi-truck and a sedan were involved in the crash. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
CHP says one person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
