Palm Desert, CA. – One person was killed in a collision involving a big rig on Thursday morning in Palm Desert.
The fatal collision happened around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 74 near state Route 371, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A big rig was traveling on the freeway when it lost control and crashed into a Chevrolet Silverado traveling in the opposite direction.
The pickup truck driver was killed in the accident.
