1 Killed in Otay Mesa Car Accident 905 Freeway at Britannia Boulevard
A car was traveling at a high rate of speed and crashed into a Caltrans truck that was parked on the side of the road
San Diego, CA. – One person died and another was injured in a car crash on State Route 905 in Otay Mesa on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident on the westbound 905 Freeway at Britannia Boulevard at around 2:20 p.m.
A car was traveling at a high rate of speed and crashed into a Caltrans truck that was parked on the side of the road.
One person was killed in the accident.
Another person was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
