1 Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 4 near Pine Street in Martinez
Contra Costa, California (September 18, 2023) – A motorcyclist died in a crash early Sunday morning in Martinez.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened on State Highway 4 near Pine Street at around 2:03 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol – Contra Costa Division.
A motorcycle was traveling westbound on the highway when the rider ran over debris on the roadway and went down.
The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office did not disclose the identity of the victim pending notification of the next of kin.
