Fresno, CA. – One person died in a head-on collision that left two other people injured on Saturday morning near Coalinga in Fresno County on Saturday morning.
At around 1:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a head-on collision on Highway 296 near Ford Avenue.
A Tesla was traveling northbound when it drifted into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a truck.
A passenger in the Tesla was killed in the accident.
Both drivers were seriously injured and were transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
