Bernardino, CA. – At least one person was killed in a collision involving a wrong-way driver on Monday afternoon in Fontana.
The fatal collision was reported around 1:40 p.m. on Interstate 15 Freeway near Summit Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A tan Chevy SUV was reportedly traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the freeway when it collided with a semi that may have been stationary at the time of the crash.
The sole occupant of the SUV, believed to have been stolen, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
