1 Dies in Globe Collision on US 60

Globe, Arizona (November 2, 2023) – One person was killed in a collision that happened Thursday morning near Globe, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The crash took place on US 60 at milepost 242.

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the accident.

A man who was driving one of the vehicles was killed in the incident.

A passenger in that vehicle was hospitalized with serious injuries.

The second driver was also hurt.

Both sides of US 60 were shut down as authorities investigated the incident.

The crash is under investigation.
