1 Killed in Fiery Car Accident on 605 Freeway near South Street in Cerritos
Los Angeles, California (June 19, 2023) – At least one person died in a car crash that happened near Cerritos on Monday morning.
At around 11:37 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car crash on Interstate 605 Freeway near South Street.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The impact of the collision sent one of the cars off the roadway, where it flipped onto its side and caught fire.
One person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
