According to a preliminary investigation, a Toyota Corolla had pulled over to the side of the road in an attempt to let faster traffic pass when it was struck by another car.
Santa Clarita, CA. – One person was killed in a Thursday morning car crash on Soledad Canyon Road in Santa Clarita.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 5:27 a.m. November 14 on Soledad Canyon Road, south of Archdale Road.
According to a preliminary investigation, a Toyota Corolla had pulled over to the side of the road in an attempt to allow faster traffic pass when it was struck by another car.
The Corolla driver was trapped inside the car. They were extricated and transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital where they died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
No arrests were made.
The cause of the mishap is under investigation.
