The accident happened at about 2:15 p.m in the 2600 block of East Clark Avenue, east of Presquile Road
Orcutt, CA – One person was killed and two others critically injured in a multi-vehicle collision on East Clark Avenue in Orcutt Monday afternoon.
At around 2:15 p.m., personnel from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department were dispatched to the 2600 block of East Clark Avenue, east of Presquile Road regarding the mishap.
Three vehicles were involved in the traffic collision.
Three people were trapped inside the vehicle and were extricated.
One of them died at the scene while the two others were rushed to Marian Regional Medical Center by an American Medical Response ambulance.
Occupants in the other two cars involved were not injured.
The identity of the deceased and those injured was not immediately disclosed.
The incident impacted East Clark Avenue for several hours Monday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol, Santa Maria area is investigating the crash.
