San Diego, CA. – A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a truck near Talmadge in San Diego on Friday evening.
The 5:31 p.m. collision occurred on Montezuma Road, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The 51-year-old man was riding a bicycle in the area when he was struck by a 2022 Ford F-250 operated by a 27-year-old man.
The bicyclist suffered major injuries including fractures to his ribs, clavicle, spine and fibula.
More details about the crash were not released.
The SDPD Traffic Division is investigating the cause of the accident.
