1 Injured in Highway 85 Car Accident near Fremont Avenue in San Jose

San Jose, California (November 3, 2023) – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in San Jose on Friday morning.

At around 8:53 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident on northbound Highway 85 near Fremont Avenue.

Five vehicles were recovered at the accident scene, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

One person was injured in the collision and was transported to Stanford Hospital for treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
