1 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on 215 Freeway near University Avenue
Riverside, California (July 20, 2023) – One person was injured in a collision involving a suspected hit-and-run driver on Thursday evening in Riverside.
The accident happened around 4:15 p.m. on Interstate 215 Freeway near the University Avenue exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A sedan reportedly struck a Honda Civic, another sedan and an SUV. The suspect reportedly sped away after the collision.
An occupant of one of the sedans was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
