One person suffered major injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment
Contra Costa, CA. – At least one person was seriously injured in a car accident that happened near Orinda on Monday afternoon.
At around 12:15 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident on Highway 24 near Camino Pablo.
A white Dodge pickup truck and a white Acura sedan were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
One person suffered major injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
