Mount Shasta, CA. – One person was injured in a collision involving a semi-truck on Wednesday afternoon in Mount Shasta.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Highway 89 near Snowman's Hill at around 1:52 p.m.
A semi-truck and a sedan reportedly collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
Cal Fire said one person was injured and was treated at the scene before being transported to the nearest hospital for treatment.
Mount Shasta Fire Department, CHP Mount Shasta, and McCloud Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
