The bicyclist was injured in the crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment
Fresno, CA. – A bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a Fresno Police officer in Fresno on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the accident happened in the area of McKinley and Chestnut avenues at around 4:41 p.m.
The officer was in an undercover vehicle and was traveling westbound on McKinley Avenue when he struck the bicyclist.
The bicyclist was injured in the crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities say alcohol and/or drugs did not appear to be a factor in the accident.
