One person was hospitalized after two cars collided on 8 Freeway near Imperial Highway in El Centro
El Centro, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a car crash that left at least one person injured in El Centro on Sunday night.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 8:39 p.m. on Interstate 8 Freeway near Imperial Highway.
Two cars were involved in the accident. However, the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
Authorities say at least one person suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
