Klamath, California (November 4, 2023) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision near Klamath on Saturday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck happened on Highway 101 near the Del Norte/ line at around 11:08 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol said a black Jeep and a grey Honda were involved in the head-on collision in the southbound lanes of the highway.

A woman in the Honda was injured in the crash and was attended to by medics at the scene.

The southbound lanes of the highway were shut down as authorities investigated the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
