Apple Valley, CA – One person was injured in a collision in Apple Valley on Monday morning, according to the authorities.
The wreck occurred on Dale Evans Parkway near the 15 Freeway at about 5:30 a.m. June 24.
Authorities said a white Hyundai sedan was traveling northbound on Dale Evans Parkway when it swerved into the southbound side and collided with an oncoming semi-truck.
The man driving the sedan was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center, then airlifted to a trauma center.
There was no update on the condition of the patient.
The roadway was shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation.
