One Hurt in Cheney Car Accident on 1st Street and F Street

Cheney, Washington (November 2, 2023) – One person was injured in a crash with a suspected DUI motorist in Cheney early Sunday morning, according to the Cheney police.
The crash was reported just after midnight on October 29, in the area of 1st Street and F Street.
Police said a white Chevy Camaro was traveling at a high rate of speed on 1st Street when it crashed into a Honda CRV that was pulling into the roadway from a parking lot.
The impact caused the Honda to spin and it slammed into a tree.
The driver of the Honda was treated by medics at the scene.
The Camaro driver, a 20-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
