The CHP said an SUV was traveling westbound on McKinley Avenue when it turned left onto Madera Avenue and crashed into a truck traveling southbound on Madera Avenue
Fresno County, CA.– One person was killed in a crash between two vehicles in Fresno County on Tuesday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on McKinley and Madera avenues just after 8 a.m. November 12.
The CHP said an SUV was traveling westbound on McKinley Avenue when it turned left onto Madera Avenue and crashed into a truck traveling southbound on Madera Avenue.
The driver of the truck was taken to a hospital and was expected to survive.
A power pole in the area was destroyed in the accident.
Then southbound side of Madera Avenue was shut down as authorities worked to clear the scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
