Desert Hot Springs, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Thursday night at an intersection in Desert Hot Springs.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 10:55 p.m. at eastbound Camino Aventura and Via Corto East.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. One of them overturned onto its side.
One person was trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Cal Fire responded to the scene and transported one person to Desert Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
One of the cars was occupied by a child. It was unclear if the juvenile was injured.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
