1 Injured in Solano Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Mason Street

Solano, California (October 27, 2023) – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred early Friday morning in Solano.

At around 1:42 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a car crash on the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway, just east of Mason Street.

The officers who arrived at the scene located a black Honda and a Lexus that were involved in the crash. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.

CHP says at least one person suffered minor injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital.

Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
