1 Injured in Traffic Collision on Highway 101 near San Antonio Road Off-Ramp
Petaluma, California (June 27, 2023) – One person was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash that happened early Monday morning on Highway 101 in Petaluma, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck was reported at around 4:33 a.m. in the southbound lanes just north of the San Antonio Road off-ramp.
Two vehicles collided for an unknown reason, and one went off the roadway and overturned onto its roof adjacent to the nearby North Bay Korean Amer Presbyt.
One person was trapped in the overturned car but looked okay.
The report said one of the drivers fled the scene after the crash.
Emergency personnel from the Petaluma Fire Department responded and transported one person to Marin General Hospital with unspecified injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.
