One Injured in Del Mar Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 5
San Diego, California (September 27, 2023) – One person was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident that happened Tuesday morning near Del Mar.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision took place around 10:41 a.m. on northbound Interstate 5 near Del Mar Heights Road.
A motorcycle and a car were involved in the collision.
The rider was lying on his back in the center divider after the accident.
Police officers and firefighters responded to the scene shortly after the collision.
One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
