Phoenix, AZ.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Phoenix early Tuesday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
At around 6 a.m., authorities responded to the area of 32nd Street and Broadway Road regarding an auto-pedestrian collision.
According to PPD, a vehicle struck a man near the intersection under unclear circumstances.
The unidentified pedestrain was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There were no details on the driver of the vehicle that hit the pedestrian.
Roads were shut down in the area for an unspecified duration as police investigated the crash. The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the Phoenix Police Department.
