The incident happened near 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road at around 5:40 a.m. September 11.
According to the police, a man was struck by a vehicle near the intersection under unclear circumstances.
The victim was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately available.
The crash remained under investigation.
