Portland, OR.- The woman who was killed in a hit-and-run accident in the Bridgeton neighborhood last month has been identified as Shawney M. Mann, 34, of Portland, according to a report by the Portland Police Bureau.
At around 10:40 p.m. September 24, authorities responded to a crash near the intersection of N. Marine Drive and Anchor Way.
A driver reportedly fled the area after striking Mann, who was walking in the intersection.
Mann was found down in the street and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police said the suspect is believed to have been driving a 2010-2016 Cadillac SRX, which sustained damage to the front bumper.
The Portland Police Bureau is conducting an investigation into the hit-and-run accident.
