Seligman, AZ – Bicyclist Kevin Lamere-O’Dell Killed in Crash at I-40 Business Loop and Crookton Road

Seligman, AZ. – A bicyclist was killed Friday night after being struck from behind by a vehicle while riding along a roadway in eastern Seligman.

The authorities identified the deceased rider as Kevin Michael Lamere-O’Dell, a 28-year-old resident of Seligman.

The fatal crash happened at approximately 8:40 p.m. near the intersection of I-40 Business Loop and Crookton Road.

Lamere-O’Dell was riding eastbound on the shoulder of the Business Loop when a vehicle struck him from behind. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A damaged maroon and black bicycle was found near the crash site.

The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation by the Vehicular Crimes Unit.
