Lake Havasu City, AZ – Three Yuma men who were killed in a head-on collision on State Route 95 near Lake Havasu City have been identified by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The fatal crash occurred on Tuesday, June 16, along State Route 95 near mile marker 174, near South McCulloch Boulevard, just south of Lake Havasu City.
According to DPS, the three men were traveling in a Ford Bronco when a southbound Nissan Sentra crossed the centerline and collided head-on with their vehicle. All three men were killed in the crash.
Authorities identified the victims as Faron Dean Woods, 69, Robert Mark Sumac, 75, and Robert John Wilson, 73, all from Yuma. DPS said Wilson was a British national who lived in Yuma.
Investigators have not released additional information regarding the circumstances that caused the Nissan Sentra to cross into oncoming traffic. The crash remains under investigation by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
