San Luis Obispo, CA – A rider was severely injured in a collision between a vehicle and a motorcyclist on Broad Street in San Luis Obispo on Tuesday morning.
According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, the wreck took place near Caudill Street just before 9 a.m. March 24.
Preliminary reports indicate that a motorcyclist was traveling south on Broad Street when they crashed into the rear of a northbound silver sedan that was making a turn onto Caudill Street.
San Luis Obispo police reported that the accident resulted in major injuries to the involved motorcyclist. It’s unclear whether the rider, who was not immediately identified, was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
Authorities located the driver at the scene of the accident. The driver was unhurt and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
